One of my favorite unusual recycle items is this roll of dry wall mesh that I've been using forever. It was a half roll that was left over from a remodeling project. It's great stuff it's sticky on the back so it is real easy to apply to your paper. I've used it as my background on a piece of tempting turquoise card stock for some great texture.
My card base is chocolate chip. I found these scraps of holiday treasures DSP and some teal colored brads left over from another project. The stamp set is a retired set called flaky friends. It's one of my favorites.
Well that's my card. I hope you like it and you should give this dry wall mesh a try.
Happy Stampin

By the way, I'm still mad at you for taking my snow, LOL ;) It's snowing here today, but we're only supposed to get about 2", nothing like the Nor'easter that blew through your area!
Hi Karen, what a fabulous idea to use the mesh in your cards, it looks fabulous.
Those snowmen are comical and put a smile on your face when you look at them.
Thanks for sharing your creation in this weeks challenge.
Cheers,
