Oh Hello

Hi stampers
Today's card I made for The Friday Mashup challenge. Lisa is mashing up the embossing folder stamping technique with mix and match shapes.

It's snowy like crazy today, so I'm thinking about spring. Here is the card I created.

For my background I used an embossing folder from The Player Studio. It kinda matches the big Betsy Blossom flower from Stampin' Up. That's why I bought. The colors I used were (SU) Barely Banana, Regal Rose, and Certainly Celery. I then spritzed with Perfect Pearls. I wish you could see how pretty it came out. The butterfly is from Papertrey Inks and the button was punched using the Martha Steward punch. The sentiment is from the (SU)  Oh Hello set. I hope you like my card. It was a lot of fun to make. I will be teaching this technique in one of my card classes.
Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING

This is very pretty Karen! I keep hearing about Perfect Pearls, I am going to have to look for that.

Thanks for playing along with us at The Friday Mashup!

Oh, I bet the Perfect Pearls in person is awesome- I can see it in the photo. Such a lovely spring card as we freeze our behinds off up north. Thanks for sharing this breath of spring with the Friday Mashup this week:)

Very pretty card, Karen! Love how you used two different colors for your background using your embossing folder. I spritz a lot too because I love the shimmer it leaves on my card. I haven't heard of Perfect Pearls, but I'll have to check it out sometime. I definitely think they'll love the technique and card at your next class. :) Thanks for sharing with us at the Friday Mashup.
