red ornament

Hi everyone. I was searching around today and found another blog I liked to follow and play along with. It's called Cut It Up With this challenge blog you must use a die cut of some kind. That's right up my alley.

Challenge #8
White Elegance
Make a project that includes a die cut and are all white except for a small touch of one color.

Here is the card I created

I used Whisper White with a touch of Real Red. I think the brick background (Tim Holtz) looks like it could be a fireplace and the ornament is hanging down from the mantle. To me that's elegance. The ornament is from Stampin' Up's Ornament Keepsakes set and the matching die set I heat embossed it using Real Red embossing powder. The thin red ribbon has white dots on it and goes well with the tiny white pearls on the ornament. My little sentiment is from The angel Co. and punched out using using the large oval and scallop punches from Stampin' Up.

I hope you like my card and will stop back again.
Merry Christmas and Happy Stamping
