Newlyweds

Hi everyone and Happy Ground Hog's Day. I guess ol' Phil says 6 more weeks of winter, that means 12 weeks for us. Oh well life goes on. Today I've made a Baja breeze and Not quite navy wedding card using the Paper Players great sketch. This is my challenge card #38 for the year.

I just got my Stampin Up order and I can't stop playing with all this great stuff. I've got some great card ideas in my head. I just love this Apothecary set and the matching Framelits Label Dies. And I just love these colors together. I used the stripe embossing folder on the white background and colored my image in with markers. The flower is a simple flower punched from a scrap of Baja and then scrunch up so you can pull the layers apart, then put back together with a silver brad. The sentiment is from the Teeny tiny wishes set. Everything is inked in Not quite navy. The Not quite navy panel is also embossed. I used the Love words folder.

I hope you like my card. thank you for stopping by. Please come back again.
HAPPY STAMPING

What a pretty and elegant wedding card, Karen! I love the soft blues together and the way you paired the ribbon with the stamped image. Very clever! Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! :)
