Happy Birthday RaMae

Hi every one,
Here it is day 15. I'm now on challenge card 16 and card 21 for 2012. Today I'm doing one challenge with the paper lovin gals. But I also had to get my club cards done. I'm the hostess of our card club this month. So I have to design and make 3 card kits for each of us. I also get to make breakfast. We get together one morning a month for about three hours and just gab and make cards. It's a lot of fun.
I'll start with my challenge card.

This challenge is to look at the picture and see what you can come up with. I needed a birthday card for my sister. I hope she likes what I came up with. I don't think she's really into the vintage look. I know I didn't like vintage at all until I started doing blog challenges.
Here's my card

I didn't have any vintage word paper, so I made my own on the computer. After cutting the panels to size, I ruffed up the edges and used Creamy Caramel ink to age the edges. I set these on a black background and ruffed up the edges on that too. My card base is Riding hood Red as is my small rosette. I cut leaf shapes from some Wild Wasabi, folded them in half and ran them through the crimper. A yellow button in the middle turns the rosette into a flower. The sentiment stamp I used is from the Perfect Punches Set.
I hope you like my challenge card. Slide down and see what else I did today.
Happy Birthday RaMae.

These are the 3 club cards I came up with. I used Perfect Punches stamp set and Simple Soft stamp set for all 3 cards. Our technique we're doing is two step stamping and Simple Soft is such a great set. I'v kept the cards on the simple side. Here they are:

I hope you like all my cards. Thank you for stopping by and please come back.
HAPPY STAMPING

Wow, so many wonderful cards here! Love your sister's bday card, it's beautiful!! How fun to get together with friends to stamp. I do that and we make Christmas cards each month, that way we can have quite a few done by Dec. Thanks for the reminder because I need to set a date for Jan. And thanks for joining us at Paper Lovin' Gals.
