Challenge 54

Hi me again. Here with the Try Staming on Tuesday Challenge. I missed this one last week and it was an important one too. It was their first birthday. I'll start off with saying  HAPPY BIRTHDAY ladies. I look forward to playing along with you again and again. Here is Jenn's sketch

Along with this post I'd like to take part in the fun thing the girls over at the Friday Mashup has going on. They are doing the Fan Favorite again

I'm using the same card for both. I'll start with The Friday Mashup.
Here is my idea for a challenge:
1. Create a project using a flower made using  dies or punches
2. Create a project using glitter or shimmer
3. Or mash it up and create a flower project that  glitters and shimmers.

By now you all know I love flowers, even more than butterflies. Here is the card I created.

And a close up for the mashup challenge:
It's hard to see the shimmer on this flower but it is there and you can see it in the brad. I really love these brads.

My supplies are:
From Stampin' Up
Pink Pirouette, Old olive and Whisper white. DSP is Tea Party. Stamp sets are  Mixed bunch and  Three little words.. I used  the mixed bunch flower punch , Decorative label and Scallop trim border punches. The background is embossed using the Perfect dots folder.
My flower is three layers and they are heat embossed with Pretty in pink and Embossing tinsel ( bridal ). I used a large glitter brad from The Angel Company in the center. The leaves are die cut with a Spellbinder die and I used a 1/8" white grosgrain ribbon to finish it off.
I hope you like my card and my challenge idea. Come back again.
HAPPY STAMPING
